As we celebrate Thanksgiving, I wish we would reflect on the goodness of the Lord, and not on what's on sale at the Mall on Black Friday. A grateful heart is a treasure before the Lord. He loves a cheerful giver. Now, you wonder what gratefulness has to do with giving. When you are grateful, you do not begrudge God. You give Him of yourself more willingly and you more readily yield yourself to Him. You see Him differently from someone who is counting what they do not have and asking why God has not blessed them.
